Questions worth answering up front.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. 14 days of full Starter-tier access, no credit card. Convert to any paid tier before day 15 or your tenant auto-suspends. Data is retained for 30 days in case you come back.
Do you take a cut of M-Pesa or card payments?
No. M-Pesa fees go to Safaricom; card fees go to your gateway. ISPStack only charges the tier subscription plus any modules you add. Optionally you can use our hosted Daraja at KES 2 per successful transaction to avoid Daraja setup pain — your own Daraja credentials remain free.
What happens if I exceed a usage limit?
Graduated, friendly enforcement. At 80% you get a banner + email. At 100% the feature soft-blocks with a one-click one-month override. At 110% it hard-blocks until you upgrade. Active-subscriber and admin-user limits are billed as overage instead (KES 5/extra sub/mo, KES 200/extra admin/mo) — no block.
Can I switch tiers anytime?
Yes, in both directions. Upgrades take effect immediately and pro-rate to the cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next cycle (so you keep what you paid for).
Is there a discount for annual prepay?
15% off the subscription with annual prepay. 25% off with a 2-year commit. Discounts apply to subscription only, not to modules or pay-per-use. Non-profit / educational ISPs get 30% off, and migrations from a competitor (proof required) get 3 months free on Growth or higher.
Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
Yes, one-time. Starter KES 5,000 (self-serve walkthrough + 1h group office hours). Growth KES 20,000 (1 onboarding session + import + branding). Pro KES 50,000. Scale KES 200,000 (one week white-glove + admin certification). Enterprise is custom.
What about Uganda / Tanzania / Nigeria / Ghana?
Same tier structure, same limits, same modules — only the price band changes per country, calibrated against local salaries and competitor pricing. See the per-country table above. Markets outside our launch list are quoted in USD at the Rest-of-World band.
